Isuikwuato All Stars Football Club, Isuikwuato paid a courtesy visit to former Chairman, Isuikwuato Local Government Area, Engr Charles Omesie Ojukwu at his country home Echiele, Otampa, Isuikwuato.
Receiving the club members, Ojukwu expressed appreciation for the honour of the visit.
The highpoint of the occasion was the presentation and the handing over of the clubs branded jersey to the elder statesman.
In appreciation to the gesture, Ojukwu supported the club with cash donation of One hundred thousand Naira.
This was even the footballers with refreshment and encouraging words.
The excited club members expressed appreciation to the former Chairman. They thanked him for his uncommon hospitality, generosity and massive support to sport development in the LGA.
They prayed Almighty God to continue to preserve and bless him abundantly.
Recall that Engr. Charles Omesie Ojukwu served as the Executive Chairman of Isuikwauto Local Government Area Council from 2004 to 2006. He was also appointed Commissioner for Environment by the former Abia State Governor, Chief T. A. Orji in 2008.
During his tenure as Chairman. Isuikwuato LGA triumphed in sports. With LGA coming tops in Abia State Sports Festival in 2008.
