Combined security operatives have discovered the decomposing body of Hon. Justice Azuka who was declared missing late 2024.
Recall that the Azuka, who was a member of the Anambra State House of Assembly had been declared missing.
ISUIKWUATO VOICE learnt on Thursday morning that the body of the lawmaker was found at the 2nd Niger Bridge.
The discomposing body was discovered at the 2nd Niger Bridge by a combined security team.
This was disclosed by the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, of the State, SP Tochukwu Ikenga. He confirmed the unfortunate incident to news media in a text message.
He wrote: “Yes, our operatives are currently at the scene. As soon as I get more details, I will keep you updated.”
The late lawmaker was a representative of the Onitsha I North constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly. He was kidnapped by gunmen on December 24, 2024.
Reported had stated that he was abducted while returning home on Ugwunaobankpa Road in Inland Town, Onitsha.
